Monday

Monday Matinee Showing of 'Quartet' The Stratford Library's monthly "Monday Matinee Movies" film series continues this Fall with a showing of "Quartet," the delightful dramedy directed by Dustin Hoffman.

Youth Prescription Drug Misuse/Abuse Presentation Join the Stratford Youth and Family Advisory Board for this presentation by John Daviau to learn about prescription drug misuse/abuse trends and data, consequences of use and risk factors.

Tuesday

Flu Clinic “Don’t wait ‘til it’s too late to fight the flu!” says Stratford Health Department’s Nursing Supervisor Bernice Bova. On Thursday, Oct. 22, the Stratford Health Department will host a flu clinic for all residents aged 6 months and older.

Park City Toastmasters Club Meeting Park City Toastmasters is an open group of members wanting to become better speakers and gain confidence for anything from being able to ace a job interview, network with business associates or give a speech or presentation to a large audience.

Thursday

Cheers for BBBS Raise your glass in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of  Southwestern Connecticut, the nation's premier mentoring organization, on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6-9 p.m., at Two Roads Brewery Co. in Stratford.

Friday

Wilcoxson Elementary 5th Annual Walkathon and 85th Birthday Celebration On Oct. 25, the Wilcoxson Elementary School PTSA will be sponsoring its 5th Annual Wildcat Walkathon. In conjunction with the Walkathon we will also have a ribbon cutting to kick or walk off our year of celebrating 85 Years of Wilcoxson Elementary.
