Nacho: Adoptable Pet of the Weekend

This domestic short-haired cat really needs a good home.

Nacho is a sweet domestic short-haired cat. She is approximately 4 to 5 years old. She was found with a feral colony and deemed too friendly not to be given a chance to find a loving forever home.

She is spayed, tested negative for disease and microchipped. Nacho loves attention and is ready to move into her forever home.

To adopt Nacho you must complete an application and be approved. Home ownership or landlord approval required.

All members in a household must meet the pet and agree to the adoption. The fee is $125.00 to adopt pets that have been spayed/neutered, tested for disease, vaccinated and microchipped. These services have been paid for by donations.

All other pets will be adopted through the State of Connecticut Animal Population Control Program. The fee is $60.00 and this entitles the adopter to 2 free vaccines, and a discount voucher off the cost of spay/neuter.

The new pet will then be dropped off at a local veterinarian and the adopter will pick up the pet and be responsible for the balance. In general, the price ranges from $100-200 and is due upon receipt of the animal at the veterinarian office.
