Stratford Arts Guild Kicks Off 'Artists' Workshop' Series with Fall Class

Photoshop course delivers essential skills to arts community.

The Stratford Arts Guild holds its kick-off workshop event on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Roger Salls Photography Studio.

"Introduction to Photoshop," a two-part course is designed for those with basic knowledge of Photoshop but who want to build on their skills. The classes will be held on two consecutive Saturdays, October 27 and November 3.

The Photoshop class, says Roger Salls, Stratford Arts Guild president, is the flagship course in the guild’s new "Artists' Workshop" series: a slate of new and exciting classes created specifically to serve the needs of artists and craftspeople.

“We’ve planned a series of courses where participants can expect to learn technical, creative, and strategic business skills,” Salls says. “Our first class is something our members have been asking about for quite some time.”

Ed Bertorello, guild member and photographer, will teach the Photoshop course. Ed has 40 years of industry experience, and owns a digital imaging firm in New York City that serves museums, advertising agencies, and Fortune 500 companies.
