90-min Delay for Stratford Schools

Inclement weather forces 90-minute delay to the start of school Wednesday.

Due to overnight inclement weather, Stratford schools will have a 90-minute delay this morning, according to a message on the Stratford Board of Education's website.

At 5:30 a.m. the National Weather Service had Stratford under a Winter Weather Advisory.

According to the service: snow, freezing rain and sleet will turn over to rain and sleet after 8 a.m. Little accumulation is expected but travel has the potential to be hazardous, the service warns.

Stratford Patch will provide weather-related updates if/when they are warranted.
