Stratford Councilmen Address Flooding Concerns

Flooding on Bowe Avenue was a complaint by some residents at a recent Town Council meeting.

Dear Residents of Bowe Avenue and Lower Barnum Avenue:

Councilman Jack Dempsey and I, Councilman Jason Santi, would like to thank you for coming out to the and expressing your concerns about the Bruce Brook Culvert and the flooding at the end of Bowe Avenue.

Being the Councilmen for the districts that this flooding issue affects, we would just like to assure you that we are very aware of this problem, we care deeply about our districts, and empathize with you on what is occurring.

We have made the Town aware of this and they are currently working on a long-term multi-phase, multi-million dollar project that will help in reducing the flooding over time. This does take time and we appreciate your patience in this matter.

Should you have any future questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
