Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will be stopping by Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford tonight as part of his ongoing jobs tour, which aims to capture the employers' perspective on jobs and the economy.
A private tour of Sikorsky's headquarters, 6900 Main St., will precede a press conference, which is scheduled to start shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Accompanying the governor will be Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith.
Sikorsky is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of military and commercial helicopters, and employs about 9,000 people in the state and 18,000 worldwide.
