GOProud, the conservative gay group that endorsed Mitt Romney, announced Friday that it's also endorsing Linda McMahon, according to BuzzFeed.

Executive Director Jimmy LaSalvia said in a statement that McMahon "not only has the private sector experience," but also "a plan that will help grow the economy, create jobs, and end our disastrous dependence on foreign oil."

Christopher R. Barron, chief strategist for GOProud, added that McMahon is ideal because she is "Washington-outsider" who can "create jobs and grow businesses."

Rosa DeLauro (D): DeLauro along with Rep. John Larson, introduced legislation last Thursday to reduce the levels of sulfur in heating oil, which, according to a statement released by her office, will cut down on harmful emissions in the air thus benefiting public health.

"It is high time we started using more of that fuel to heat our homes, benefit our environment and improve our health," she said.
