Chris Shays (R): With the finances and polls not in his favor for the August primary, Shays has tapped Karl Rove, the deputy chief of staff of George W. Bush's administration, for a boost. The two appeared at an event in Greenwich last week, according to the Greenwich Post.

Susan Bysiewicz (D): With the primary in August, Bysiewicz is lagging in the polls compared to the leading Chris Murphy. Her campaign website is also behind, with the last update posted on May 22.
