Senate

Linda McMahon (R): The candidate's camp blasted an editorial in the Norwich Bulletin that criticized McMahon for refusing to meet with any newspaper editorial boards. Campaign manager Corey Bliss wrote in a letter that she's refusing to meet with the newspapers because, "she has chosen to run a grassroots campaign that involves taking her message directly to each and every voter."

Chris Murphy (D): A story in the Hartford Courant reports on how Republicans and Democrats seeking the Senate are both criticizing Murphy in the election.

Wayne Winsley (R): On Facebook, Winsley said he is meeting with the delegation from the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations in Hartford. The federation of unions is the largest in the United States.
