Stratford Police Investigating Incident on Unity Drive

Details are few. We'll provide updates as they are made available.

are investigating an incident at 65 Unity Drive in Stratford in which gasoline was emptied onto a garage floor.

Initial reports of attempted arson could not be confirmed by police. Nor could a report that the suspect fled the scene in a car.

Asst. Fire Chief John Conway said two gallons of gas were emptied and the incident appeared to be an altercation between family members.

Firefighters from the Huntington Road Fire Station applied speedy dry to the affected area after it was called in around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.

As of 11:45 p.m., police were still on scene investigating, according to a resident who messaged us via our Facebook page.
