Stratford Man Pleads Guilty to Widespread Car Vandalism

Police said a total of 44 cars were damaged last fall by 49-year-old local Michael Andrukevich.

The Stratford man accused of pled guilty March 1 to three counts of second-degree criminal mischief, police said.

Michael Andrukevich, 49, of 29 Richard Circle, was handed a one-year suspended sentence and three years of probation.

"During the commission of the crimes Andrukevich would drive by parked and unoccupied vehicles and throw paint stripper on the cars he targeted," police said in a press release.

The investigation ended Oct. 7.
