Stratford Man Charged w/ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Milford police arrest David Itchawitz on marijuana and vehicle charges.

On April 27, 2013 at 8 p.m., a Milford police officer stopped a vehicle with a suspended registration on Bridgeport Avenue.

During the stop, police allegedly found the operator, David Itchawitz, age 47 of 476 Commanche Lane, Stratford, to be in possession of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.

A computer check revealed that Itchawitz had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from the Trumbull Police Department accusing him of failing to respond to an infraction issued to him in December 2012.

Itchawitz was released to the custody of the Trumbull Police Department.

Itchawitz was changed with possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, no insurance and failure to respond to an infraction.

He was released on a promise to appear in Milford Superior Court on May 23.
