Stratford Man Attempts Escape From Hospital After Arrest

Police say the 39-year-old resident was taken to the hospital after being arrested on burglary charges.


Craig Rosenoch, 39, of Stratford, was arrested in Shelton on Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. on charges of:

  • Third-degree burglary
  • Fifth-degree larceny

A $10,000 bond was placed, and Rosenoch was transported to the hospital after his arrest. While at the hospital he attempted to flee, police said. The officer who was assigned to escort Rosenoch to the hospital was reportedly able to catch him and he was subsequently charged with:

  • Criminal attempt
  • Escape from custody
  • Interfering with an officer

Rosenoch was held on an additional total of $25,000 bonds for these charges.
