Stratford Grandmother Leaves Grandchild In Hot Parked Car

A 3-year-old was left inside the car with the windows rolled up.

We’ve heard many stories of parents leaving their children behind in hot parked cars this summer, well now a grandmother has been charged with doing the same thing.

A Stratford grandmother, Rosanna Sinatra, 59, allegedly left her 3-year-old grandchild alone and its car seat 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Ferry Boulevard parking lot, NBC Connecticut reported.

The car’s windows were closed and the doors were unlocked, NBC reports. The grandmother told police she only went inside for five minutes and didn’t take her grandchild inside because he was sleeping, NBC reports.
