UPDATE: Stratford Police ID Suspect in Friday Raid

A 22-year-old Franklin Avenue resident was arrested on drug charges.

Stratford police have identified the man arrested in a Friday morning narcotics raid (see original report below) as 22-year-old Daniel Dzwonkowski.

Police said they served a search and seizure warrant at 334 Franklin Avenue after a month-long investigation into alleged drug activity at the residence.

The resident, Dzwonkowski, was found to be in possession of marijuana, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia, police said.

He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dzwonkowski was released on $75,000 bond, police said.

Narcotics Raid in Stratford Nets One

A suspect was taken into custody during a raid early Friday morning in Stratford.

say they have one suspect in custody following an early morning narcotics raid today in the area of Canaan Road and Franklin Avenue (see map).

The suspect, who police have yet to name, was arrested without incident at about 6:45 a.m. The specific charges were not available Friday afternoon.

Officers in riot gear with their guns drawn surrounded the house before entering, according to a Twitter post by an eyewitness. Police canines were also on the scene.
