A Bridgeport man was reportedly sentenced Monday to five years in prison in connection with a fatal accident that occurred in 2010 on the I-95 on the -Milford town line.
According to a report in the Connecticut Post, Allen "Busta" Boulware, 36, pleaded guilty to felony evading and making a false statement.
Authorities said Boulware caused the March 6, 2010 accident that claimed the life of David Rapoport, 53, of Warwick, R.I., who was ejected from the tractor-trailer he was driving on approach to the bridge, on the Stratford side.
Boulware and a passenger reportedly then fled the scene on foot. The passenger, later indentified as Kwan "Kay-Dub" Jeffries, was later found killed in Bridgeport, according to the Post report.
Police were reportedly able to link Boulware to the accident because he had left his cell phone in the car.
