Hong Kong Cafe is among the highest regarded Chinese Restaurants in the state. Among the few which can compete with restaurants in Chinatown. It is also one of the most reasonably priced in New England. How can you best that combination? We don't go too often because we can't deal with too much of a good thing!!!

Biagio's Osteria in Ryders Landing for a gourmet sit down experience. Lisa's on Broadbridge for restaurant quality take out.

It really depends on what type of food I crave, but overall my favorite is Blue Goose. You can't beat their prime rib. Hal Baird

Without question the best restaurant in town is Biagio's. Disagreeing with Pam the worst restaurant in town is Outriggers. Food is awful and the service is terrible. It's only attaction is the location.

I love Sunnyside Restaurant and Beyond on Barnum Ave. Friendly staff and owners, good food, love the atmosphere. At the bottom of Nichols Ave. take a right and there it is. Try it!

I think 99 is the best reaturant in Stratford
Pam Landry June 09, 2011 at 12:29 PM
Hmm..RustyNail2, I've never had either bad service OR bad food at Outriggers ...but I like to go for lunch and keep the menu simple.
bpiretti June 09, 2011 at 03:37 PM

Aculpuco's when dining with the family - great margaritas too! Biagio's for a romantic or adult evening. Great wine and food!

I totally disagree I think hong kong cafe is overpriced for their chinese food and I think Dynasty Chinese food near birdseye school is much better
Maggie Murolo June 14, 2011 at 05:46 AM
Acapulcos is awesome!

For take out, by far the best is Hanna's Kitchen in Paradise Green. The burgers are huge, handmade and delicious. Their soups are made fresh and the have a wonderful menu that includes great home made salads, fresh baked stuffed breads made in house and specials that change daily. Clean and not overpriced. Hanna is a smiling face that makes you leave happy........(and well fed)
