Disappointed

We've notified the town of stratford several different ways in regards to a curb replacement. Here's how we've been treated.

Now I've documented everything with email conversations to mayor Harkins office as of 2 May 2014:
It is with much frustration to contact your office yet again for the same problem that has occurred for 7 years now. Our curb in stratford has been missing since 6 winters ago. A city snow plow took it away.

First, we have been reporting the issue for over 3 years; physically and verbally. We first stop in at engineering located inside town hall. They told us to speak with public works. Public works says they'll call and give further information. No response. We then try some couple months later. A john from public works returns our call after our complaining again. Some one did stop by. Looked at it and said we will take care of it. Not done. We some time later even emailed public works and that was a failure also. Who wouldn't get frustrated and give up?
Annoyed, I call your office to report the issue on 26 august of 2013. I spoke with a woman who's first name started with an L. She advised she would notify someone and get back to us. Nothing happened. 20 September 2013, housatonic ave is completely repaved. No curb was replaced. I called again the same day and spoke with a Ricky, who told me the woman I spoke to had resigned and that the new hire would call me back to see if she passed the message on. How disappointing. A couple days after that call, a Christopher called and said we would have  the curb replaced by the end of October 2013. To this day the curb is non existent! This is how the issue has been handled. Being given run arounds.  No one wants to take initiative. Yet if tax payers don't want to pay, can't remember, or can't pay their property taxes; the first thing they receive is a nasty letter being sent with first line reading INTENT OF/TO LIEN or other consequences.

Since the email- I've been contacted 2 and 14 May and 6 June 2014, stating the curb would be replaced by end of week 13 June. Today is 1 July 2014 and still no curb to be found. Is it really that difficult to keep your word and complete such a task?

The he photo was taken at our house in my car, to show now curb. When it rains, the street gets so full of mud. It's terrible. Perhaps our land is falling down over time when rain happens.....with kind words and actions, we haven't been heard. Hopefully someone's attention is caught now.
