Obituary: Raymond Yassak, U.S. Army Vet, 81
Raymond proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Raymond W. Yassak age 81 of Stratford beloved husband of the late Eleanore Evan Yassak passed away peacefully on Oct. 22, 2013 after a long illness in the Masonicare at Newtown.
Raymond was born on Nov. 14, 1931 in Bridgeport and was the son of the late Charles and Justina Holmack Yassak.
He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was employed by Dresser Industries as a tool and die maker for many years.
Raymond is survived by one sister Eleanor Farrell of Durham and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Entombment will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at noon in St. Michael’s Garden Mausoleum. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main St., Stratford.
