Obituary: Olga Timoshuk Paradiso, Age 89

Olga Timoshuk Paradiso, age 89, of Stratford, the widow of Jerry Paradiso, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2012 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Mrs. Paradiso, a retired secretary for the Stratford Board of Education, was born in Fairfield to the late Dimitri and Katherine (Malash) Timoshuk, and has been a life long area resident.

She is survived by her beloved sons Dennis Paradiso and his wife Debra of Oxford, and Timothy Paradiso and his wife Linda of Stratford, three cherished grandchildren Brian, Kevin, and Laura, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by her sisters Ann Miller, Lydia Pisaretz, Rose Graham, and Vera Samolik.

A Requiem Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 1 Honeyspot Road, Stratford. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.

At the family’s request calling hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Olga’s memory to St. Nicholas RO Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford.
