Obituary: Michael Jason Moher, Age 32

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m.

Michael Jason Moher, age 32, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 14 at his home in Stratford, Connecticut.

He was the beloved son of Gary Moher and his late mother Gloria Moher, whom he cherished. Michael was a graduate of Bunnell High School. Michael loved many sports, his favorites were tennis and bowling, which he excelled in. His favorite teams were the Yankees, Knicks, and the Jets (Yeah, the Jets!).

Michael very much appreciated the support of his family over the years and loved to spend time with them at family gatherings. Also, Michael was a supporter of the SWIM Across the Sound.

He is survived by his loving, caring, and devoted father, Gary, and his sister Lindsay Mazzarella, who loved him unconditionally. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Mary Martino and Stella Moher, many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and brother-in-law, Michael Mazzarella.

Recently, Michael made many new acquaintances at St. James Church who were there for him to offer guidance and support. Our thanks to those folks; Michael enjoyed being in your company very much. Michael will be sadly missed. We love you Michael.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main St Stratford. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford.

At the family's request calling hours have been omitted. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in Michael’s memory to St. James Church. The Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford has been entrusted with the arrangements.
