Obituary: Maureen Campofiore, 58

Maureen P. Daly Campofiore, age 58, of Stratford, beloved wife of Paul J. Campofiore Jr. passed away peacefully in hospice at Bridgeport Hospital on March 10, 2013 with her loving family by her side.

Maureen was born in Bridgeport to the late Matthew and Vivienne Troy Daly. She loved spending time in New Hampshire and was an avid animal lover. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved all things Irish.

She leaves behind her cherished husband of 26 years Paul, her son Frank Carrero and his wife Georgette, her two beautiful grandchildren Sean Carrero and Alexandria Carrero, her sister Colleen Daly Blankemeier and husband Jon, her sister Kathleen Daly Hardman and husband Barry, her Uncle Chet and Aunt Joan and many cousins, nieces, nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother Matthew, her Uncle Paul and Aunt Marie and her Uncle Cornelius and Aunt Kay.

The family would like to thank Bridgeport Hospital for the wonderful support, care and compassion she received during the last days of her life.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main St., Stratford.
