John M. Kubicsko, age 55 of Stratford, beloved husband of Linda Nordone Kubicsko passed away suddenly on May 17, 2014 in Birdgeport Hospital.
John was born on October 20, 1958 in Yonkers, NY and was the son of the late John A. and Yolanda Arena Kubicsko.
He was employed by UPS for over 25 years as a driver and was a proud US Navy Veteran.
John was very active in the Boy Scouts for Troop 202 and Troop 72 and the Bunnell Marching Band with his two sons.
He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed great food.
In addition to his beloved wife, Linda, John is survived by two sons, John Kubicsko of Stratford and Matthew Kubicsko of Stratford, one daughter, Nicole Kubicsko of Yonkers, NY, one sister, Margaret Burlingame and husband of Syracuse, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday May 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call on Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 4:00 -7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may contribute to the American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter 209 Farmington Avenue, Farmington CT 06032 in John's memory.
