Arlene Sliney Meuser, age 81, of the Lordship section of Stratford, died at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford on Sunday, May 11, 2014.
She is survived by three beloved sons, Mark Meuser of Bloomfield, Christopher Meuser and his wife, Kelly, of Simsbury and Attorney Craig Meuser and his wife, Ellen, of Simsbury; daughter-in-law, Susan Meuser Sherrick of Stratford; seven cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Joseph III, Megan, Caitlin, Ashley, Christopher and Patrick; and many nieces and nephews, including Barbara Meuser and Roxie Tommasi, both of Milford, who were more like sisters.
We are also forever grateful for the support provided by John Meuser, Barbara's husband and Arlene's brother-in-law.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph E. Meuser and her beloved son, Attorney Joseph E. Meuser, Jr.; and her six sisters Helen (Nellie) Meyer, Kathleen Mack, Lillian Riccio, Gertrude Blevins, Eleanor Maroney and Josephine Holzbar.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405 or to the charity of one's choice in her memory.
