Speakers Jonathan Eckart and Kris Kazlauskas, owner and manager respectively of The Coral Reef LLC in Stratford, will lead a discussion and live demonstration on how to set up a saltwater reef tank. A live 8 gallon nano tank will be on display along with advice about setting up larger systems. With today's new tank technology and available live rock and salt water, setting up a saltwater tank has been greatly simplified. The talk will cover details about the components needed to set up a reef from tank equipment, tank cycling and water parameters to live rock, bio-sand and live species.
