“Iron Man 3” at Library for Two Showings

Robert Downey Hit Set for November 15 & 18
The Stratford Library’s “Friday Night Movies” and “Monday Matinees” series continue with a screening of the latest blockbuster film in the Marvel Comics series, “Iron Man 3” on Friday, November 15 at 7 pm and Monday, November 18 at noon.
In the latest “Iron Man” entry, Robert Downey Jr. dons his powerful armor suit portraying the popular Marvel comic book character industrialist Tony Stark – aka Iron Man – who takes on power-mad villains intent on destroying the world.  Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce are featured in this, one of the year’s biggest hits.

Movies in the library series are shown uncut on widescreen in the Stratford Library Lovell Room beginning at 7 pm (sharp!) on November 15 and noon on November 18.  For the evening showing only, complimentary snacks are served and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Library doors open at 6:30 pm – no one is admitted once the movie begins.  Patrons should use the Main Street entrances.  For the “Monday Matinee”, doors open at 11:30 am.  “Iron Man 3” is rated PG-13 and runs 129 minutes.

Free and open to the public. For further information, call the library at 203.385.4162 or visit its website: www.stratfordlibrary.org.
