The Stratford Library’s “Friday Night Movies” film series offers free showings of recent, popular films on monthly Friday evenings at 7 pm. The series continues this month on October 18 with a showing of "Evil Dead". When a group of friends vacation at an isolated cabin in the woods, they discover an evil Book of the Dead and unwittingly release a swarm of bloodthirsty demons. This spine-chilling remake of Sam Raimi’s classic horror flick is just in time for Halloween. Rated R, 91 minutes.
