Stratford, Conn. (October 7, 2013). “Don’t wait ‘til it’s too late to fight the
flu!” says Stratford Health Department’s Nursing Supervisor, Bernice Bova. On Thursday,
October 22, 2013, the Stratford Health Department will host a flu clinic
for all residents aged 6 months and older.
The clinic is located at the Stratford
Health Department, 468 Birdseye Street in Stratford, CT from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the nursing division.
All residents are encouraged to get
the vaccine. No appointment is
necessary. Medicare Part B, Anthem
BC/BS, and Connecticare will be accepted insurance with a $0 fee. All others will be charged $25.00 for the
influenza vaccine, payable by cash or check. Children 6 months to 4 years or children who qualify under the vaccine free for children program will only be charged a $5 fee.
