Screening of "Hot Coffee" Followed by Discussion

Local attorney and former Stratford Connecticut Mayor Jim Miron, in collaboration with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, will be hosting a screening and discussion of the legal documentary,  “Hot Coffee” at the Stratford Library.

“Hot Coffee” examines several cases where injuries resulted due to negligence, such as the famous McDonald's coffee case, and asks the question: “Is justice being served?”

The film was an Official Selection at the Sundance Festival in 2011  and won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the Seattle International Film Festival.
