Counseling Staff Available for Residents

As we struggle to cope with the enormous loss that we have suffered, the Town of Stratford Community Service opens its doors to residents for information, support and assistance.

Community Services Counselors are available tonight, December 17, 2012 and Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Birdseye Municipal Complex, 468 Birdseye Street, Stratford.  Mayor John A. Harkins encourages, “residents to take advantage of our trusted community resource.”

Stratford Community Services has been providing children and their families counseling services for more than thirty years. In the wake of the Newtown tragedy, counselors will be on hand this week to address questions like “How do I respond to my child’s questions? Or “I’m feeling out of sorts and I didn’t even know anyone involved”.
