“Browning Version" is "Script Talk!” Offering at Stratford Library

The Stratford Library’s monthly “Script Talk!” program continues its annual fall season with the British drama, “The Browning Version” on Tuesday, November 12th beginning at noon.  The drama and film discussion series, currently in its 27th season and sponsored by the Square One Theatre Company, is free and open to the public.
Terrence Rattigan’s perceptive drama, “The Browning Version”, concerns a middle-aged boarding school teacher who realizes he’s a failure with an unfaithful wife and a new teaching position he doesn’t want. “The Browning Version” was adapted into an acclaimed 1951 movie starring Michael Redgrave.  The film will be shown after the Library discussion.
Copies of the play are currently available at the library’s Circulation Desk. Patrons are invited to bring a bag lunch to the program – coffee and tea will be served. For further information call the Public Relations and Programming Office at: 203.385.4162.
