'Trunk or Treat' Tonight at St. Mark's

The town may have pushed back Halloween one week to Nov. 7, but those at St. Mark School will be celebrating Friday and invite you and yours to attend.

According to a post on the school's Facebook page, St. Mark is hosting a "Trunk or Treat" event Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the school parking lot.

"Cars park in school parking lot, decorate their trunks with Halloween decorations and St. Mark students in costume will trick or treat from trunk to trunk," the post reads. "Parents must accompany their children; please no dropoffs. Bring ample peanut-free candy if your child would like to trunk or treat. Tell your friends."

Cars should arrive between 5 and 5:20 p.m. and the "trunk or treating" will begin at 5:30 p.m.

"School parking lot will be closed off at 5:30 and will reopen at 6:30," the post continues. "Come share in the Halloween festivities. P.S. Bring flashlight."

St. Mark School is located at 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.
