Stratford Woman Granted Plea in Milford 'Mom-Napping' Case

Charges will be dropped if Jeryl Gray doesn't commit another offense in the next 18 months.

A woman has received accelerated rehabilitation for without court permission during a custody dispute.

The Milford Mirror reported that Jeryl Gray received the plea arrangement on the custodial interference charge, which means the charge will be dropped as long as she does not commit another offense in the next 18 months.

The mother, Dolores Gray, who founded in Stratford, suffers from dementia. She lives with her son, Jayson, in Milford, and the Milford Probate Court has assigned a conservator to oversee her financial decisions.

Editor's note: Dolores Gray founded Nature's Way. Jeryl Gray is not the current owner, as was originally reported.
