An accident involving three motorcycles and a pickup truck snarled afternoon traffic Sunday on I-95 in Milford near exit 34.
Milford Fire Department Battalion Chief Gary Baker said firefighters responded at 3:03 p.m. to the scene. Baker could not confirm initial reports that the accident closed the entire northbound side of the highway.
Baker said four persons were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the State Police.
