Car Crashes Into Pole on Nichols Ave, Driver OK
Southbound traffic on Nichols Ave had to be rerouted at Ann Terrace, while northbound traffic was allowed passage.
A tired motorist suffered minor injuries Wednesday after the car she was driving crashed into a telephone pole on the corner of Nichols Ave and Barbara Lane.
The accident happened at about 10:30 a.m.
The woman said she was driving the speed limit and was tired when her compact car slammed into the telephone pole, causing it to fracture.

The driver said she was treated on the scene by EMS. She had a bandage on her chin and a minor cut on her forehead.
Traffic going south on Nichols Ave had to be rerouted at Ann Terrace before a tow truck came to take the car away. It was not immediately known if power was lost to nearby homes.
