A power outage occurred at about 12 p.m. Monday, leaving 693 United Illuminating customers in Stratford in the dark at a time when many Stratford roads remain unplowed.
A utility crew is en route and the estimated restoration time is 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to the outage map on UI's website.
The 693 customers represent 3 percent of the utility's customers in Stratford.
Though UI does not provide the exact location of the outage on its website, a resident posted on the Stratford Patch Facebook page that Garibaldi Avenue was without lost power.
