Stratford Resident Named Employee of the Quarter at Bridgeport Hospital

Barbara Anton of Stratford is one of Bridgeport Hospital’s newest Employees of the Quarter for her outstanding service to patients and colleagues during the period January–March 2013. She was recognized for her positive attitude and outstanding service to patients and co-workers.

Anton is a Center for Sleep Medicine associate in the Respiratory Therapy Department. She joined the hospital more than 20 years ago. “Barbara consistently goes above and beyond for patients,” state her nominators. “She takes the extra steps necessary to ensure that patients’ concerns are addressed and resolved—compassionately and with kindness.”

Employees of the Quarter receive a plaque and a letter of commendation, and are eligible to be selected as Bridgeport Hospital’s outstanding Employee of the Year.
