Bob Tonne was kind enough to alert fans of Stratford Patch to a fundraising mattress sale at on Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to benefit the Bunnell High School boys track team.

Name brand mattress sets will be sold at 30 to 60 percent below retail, according to Bob's post. For more information, email Bob at btonnecfs@gmail.com.

The is competing in the 6th annual Chili Cookoff to benefit the Special Olympics this Saturday March 3rd starting at noon till 3. The location is the Milford Yacht Club located at 131 Trumbull Ave. The cost is $10 to get in and you get to taste all the chili you can stand!!
We need as many people as possible to come by and put in votes for us. It only takes about 20 min to judge and vote. This years celebrity Judge is John Ratzenberger " Cliff Clavin" from Cheers. So if your out and about on Saturday please stop by and see us. We have been on the podium all 6 years but cant seem to secure that top spot!! Come Help us help others!

Humane Education Program for Children — Saturday, March 31 at 9:00am at Stratford Animal Control.
S.T.A.R.S. and Stratford Animal Control is pleased to announce their free or low-cost Humane Education Program for Children. Each month a humane themed lesson plan will be offered to children. In addition we are offering a summer day camp series with educational and fun-filled activities.
