Underground Railroad Presentation at Baldwin

Starting in the early 19th Century, abolitionists aided up to 100,000 Black slaves escape to free states, Mexico and Canada through the creation of a vast secret network of routes and safe houses that came to be known as the Underground Railroad. Arthur Gottlieb will speak on Thursday, February 6 at 10 am at the Baldwin Center about the Underground Railroad. All Baldwin Center events are open to the senior community.
