Reps. Hoydick and Miller Recognize Lordship Shell for Energy Conservation in Stratford

HARTFORD – State Representatives Laura Hoydick (R-120) and Larry Miller (R-122) today recognized Lordship Shell for their leadership in the area of energy conservation.

Lordship Shell was recognized at the Stratford Chamber of Commerce and United Illuminating Small Business Breakfast Forum held at the Country Club on Oronoque Lane.  United Illuminating presented Lordship Shell with their 2013 Environmental Stewardship Award.

Hoydick and Miller presented Lordship Shell with an official Citation from the Connecticut general Assembly recognizing their business leadership in the conservation of energy and their protection of the environment in the process.

“I am pleased to recognize Lordship Shell for having an energy efficient business model that demonstrates good business also means good stewardship of the environment,” said Rep. Hoydick, who serves as Ranking Members of the Legislature’s Energy and Technology Committee.

“When a business takes it upon itself to be a leader in the area of energy conservation they ought to be recognized,” said Rep. Miller.  “I applaud the dedication of Lordship Shell to a clean environment and energy conservation.”
