"Play It Again, Square One" at the Stratford Library

The Friends of Square One Theatre in conjunction with the Stratford Library will begin the ninth season of its popular three-part series, “Play It Again, Square One”, on Tuesday, November 19th beginning at noon.  The drama discussion series looks at recent productions by Stratford’s Square One Theatre Company and offers patrons the opportunity to explore and discuss aspects of the play they saw.
For the November 19th session, Square One Artistic Director Tom Holehan will lead a discussion of the theatre’s recent play, “Freud’s Last Session”.  Mark St. Germain’s fascinating play imagines a battle of wills between the eminent intellectual and rabid atheist Sigmund Freud and devote convert and author C.S. Lewis.  The play, an off-Broadway hit, had its Connecticut premiere in Stratford this month. Joining Holehan for the discussion will be Stratford family therapist and trauma specialist Orna Rawls, LMFT who will discuss the legacy of Freud.
“Play It Again, Square One” will begin at noon on November 19th in the Stratford Library Lovell Room and is free and open to the public.  Coffee and tea will be served. For further information, call the Stratford Library’s Public Relations and Programming Office at 203.385.4162 or visit: www.stratfordlibrary.org
