Pinwheels for Peace

Join Stratford's first-ever International Day of Peace observance by participating in Pinwheels for Peace, at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013.  Under the guidance of Stratford Girl Scout Rachel Sherwood, all local scouts - and residents too - are being encouraged to make pinwheels and bring them to the Town Hall lawn on September 21st for display in honor of International Day of Peace.  This free event is open to the public.  Mayor John Harkins will be on hand to declare September 21st as International Day of Peace in Stratford.  For more information, please see www.pinwheelsforpeace.com.
