Keith Miller lecture on 17th Connecticut Regiment during the Civil War

THE 17th CONNECTICUT REGIMENT

He will speak about the 1000 men from Fairfield County, who came together to form the 17th Connecticut during the Civil War.
In this unit were many men from Stratford.
In May and July of 1863 they fought at Chancellors Ville and Gettysburg.

A lot of the information about this unit came from the regiments and families personal letters and diaries.

Mr. Miller has a long-standing interest in the Civil War and has written several articles for Civil War Times.
