I often write about place: how where we live shapes and affects who we are. I write and sell "Demand Poetry": custom poetry created for you, on my Olivetti Lettera 33. I'm originally from Iowa, so I'm one of those chatty Midwesterners who loves talking to neighbors. I lived for a few years in London with my hubby, Colin, so occasionally I say things like: "He's barmy!," "Oh, bugger," or "I've lost the plot."
