She has volunteered for Sterling House, Stratford Youth & Family Advisory Board, Our Lady of Grace Church, Greater Bridgeport Ameri-Corps and the Perry House Foundation. Representative Hoydick has also won numerous awards, including the Women of Distinction Award and the Youth as Resources Adult Volunteer Award. She is the wife of Paul Hoydick and has three daughters. Representative Hoydick earned a BA in business from Sacred Heart University.
