The Captain David Judson House, built in 1750, is the home of the Stratford Historical Society. The house is listed on the National Register of Historical Places, and is beautifully preserved and maintained. It contains many period pieces including a piano owned by Stratford resident William Samuel Johnson and a collection of Chinese porcelain. The kitchen features many accessories from the period and a large fireplace. Other features found in the Judson House include a clothes press and canopy bed. In the basement are former slave quarters and fishing tools of the era.

Next door to Judson House is the Catharine Bunnell Mitchell Musuem, which features exhibits of Stratford history. The public is also invited to utilize a comprehensive genealogy library, which is located in the museum.
