State Representative Lawrence G. Miller of Stratford represents the 122<sup>nd</sup> state legislative district that includes a portion of Stratford and Shelton. He was first elected to the General Assembly in 1991 and has served 10 terms. Representative Miller is a former member of the Stratford Town Council, Stratford Planning and Zoning Commission, and the separate Zoning Commission. In Hartford, he is a member of the Select Committee on Housing and the Environment, and Energy & Technology committees. Representative Miller was formerly affiliated with the Stratford Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Bridgeport YMCA, Stratford YMCA and American Red Cross. He is currently affiliated as a member of the Catholic Sokols and the Knights of Columbus. Representative Miller received his bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Bridgeport. He has three children with his wife, Mildred.
