Flotilla 24-2 is a Stratford-based, civilian auxillary division of the US Coast Guard meeting every third Wednesday of the month except for in September. The Flotilla patrols the Long Island sound and local waterways, in addition to supporting non-military Coast Guard missions and offering vessel safety checks, navigation assistance, boating courses and environmental awareness programs.
