Men's Club Hosts Local Wine Maker Join the Stratford Senior Men’s Club at their next meeting on Aug. 16, 9 a.m., when Bill Alletzhauser, owner of the Wine Makers Boutique, will visit Baldwin Center to discuss his business of winemaking.

Boothe Memorial Train Society Open House The Boothe Memorial Train Society will have an open house on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. It’s great fun for engineers of all ages. Admission is free.

ShakesBeer Festival More than 50 Connecticut craft breweries are expected to take part in the ShakesBeer Festival on the grounds of the Shakespeare Theatre Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. Proceeds will go to benefit the theatre. Tickets are still on sale. Purchase ahead of time and save $25.
