Community Emergency Response Team Training

The Town of Stratford needs volunteers for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).  After completing a two-day training, CERT volunteers are prepared to help out in a variety of ways during a disaster.  After ensuring their loved ones' safety, CERT volunteers are called to a specific location and provided with directions on what needs to be done. A training for CERT volunteers is scheduled on January 28 and February 4, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Birdseye Municipal Complex located at 468 Birdseye Street, Stratford.  For more information and to register, call Tony Schirillo at 203.767.5260.  THE JANUARY 21, 2012 CLASS IS CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST.
